Teens Need A Break This Summer

As we prepare for the end of school and a summer “post Covid” we’d like to share this wisdom from one of our favorite experts, Dr. Lisa D’Amour. This article was recently published in the New York Times.

Cooking with CARES is now available!

This cookbook is truly a community collective with recipes from our police and fire departments, town government and schools, parents and local celebrities!  Recipes run the gamut from  tried and true family recipes to pandemic favorites such sourdough bread and homemade cheese. We hope that you enjoy using this cookbook as much as we enjoyed creating it!

You may purchase just the cookbook or as one of two packages. These make wonderful Mother’s Day gifts, a thoughtful thank you gift for your favorite hostess or a gift to welcome your new neighbor to New Canaan!

Profits from the sale of the cookbooks will help to fund the invaluable, responsive educational programs CARES provides to our community.
