From NBA Dreams to a Mission of Substance Use AwarenessJoin us for a powerful evening with Chris Herren, where he is changing the conversation on substance use, focusing on the first day, not the last.
– Hear his personal journey—from the highs of professional basketball to the depths of addiction and his path to recovery.
– Learn about the risks of early substance use and gain insights into the importance of judgment-free conversations around substance use.
– Discover strategies to delay the “First Day” of substance use, and rethink how we approach the choices that shape our child’s future.

This is a must-attend event for parents. New Canaan High School students, Grades 9-12, will have the opportunity to see Chris Herren present during the school day on Thursday, March 27th.In the evening, parents, community members, and students (Grades 9 and up) who do not attend New Canaan Public Schools are invited to attend.
